History of Hotel Victoria **** Budapest
Hotel Victoria was originally built at another location in Budapest as the first private hotel after World War II in 1983. As at that time the private accommodation business was obviously not accepted, the state forced the owners to sell the hotel to a state-owned company. Fortunately the company didn’t want to buy the name: “Hotel Victoria”. Some years later the construction of the ”new” Hotel Victoria began and it was opened in 1990 with one of the best location in Budapest, on the riverside of Danube in the center of the city with a spectacular view from all hotel rooms to Budapest. The hotel offers all major services for tourists and business people. The primary aim of the owners is to operate Hotel Victoria as the best Boutiquehotel in Budapest. We understand that the expression Boutiquehotel is not very well-known in Budapest yet, however building on this location and quality of service hopefully it will soon become largely popular.
Hotel Victoria offers 27 air-conditioned rooms with bathroom (tub/shower), all giving on to the Danube, 2 rooms with balcony. Comfortable rooms equipped with minibar, safe, hair-dryer, 2 phones, satellite TV, high-speed Internet connection with leased line (laptop available for rent at the reception). Modem-based, dial-up connection can also be set up.
The wide scope of our services includes buffet-style breakfast, non-stop drink bar, room service, laundry and free sauna. Car park and limited number of garage places available to our guests.

We highly recommend this part of the hotel (3-star category) to those guests who would like to be accommodated in a frequented hotel but can renounce the Danube view. Our air-conditioned rooms can satisfy our guest’s needs and comfort while the equipment of the rooms correspond to the standards of a 4-star hotel (minibar, telephone, WI-FI Internet, cable TV, safe, bathroom with shower and hairdryer, buffet breakfast).
Our guests accommodated here can enjoy all services of the hotel (drink bar, free laptop use, sauna, laundry, program organization and garage).
The entrance of the building is behind the hotel on Fo Street, one minute walking distance from the main entrance. Reception is in the main building where also the breakfast is served. (Bem rakpart 11).
