Story of Hotel Corvin

This 3*** hotel was designed by a famous Hungarian architect, Sándor Dévényi in a fast developing area of Budapest, in the IX. district. This modern building was opened with 40 comfortable rooms completed with bathroom, TV with satellite programs, minibar and phone in August of 1996. Also a nice restaurant, a meeting room, parking lot and a bar lounge was opened.

In 1997 there was an announcement of a competition for primary and high school students to draw pictures telling the story of Matthias Corvinus the King, for whom the hotel was named after. As a result you'll be greeted with these cheerful children's drawings in the hotel.

In 2001 the hotel became air-conditioned, a new meeting room and also 5 apartments were added to the hotel.

The owner of this hotel is the Kult-Turist travel agency, which is involved in organizing cultural touristic programs from 1990.

Services

• Restaurant: You will find our restaurant on the ground floor. The breakfast is buffet-style from 7 to 10 AM. Our restaurant offers Hungarian and international dishes. Menus are available for groups on request.

• Reception: The safe can be used for free at the front desk. Other services are: laundry and parking. Parking: 13 €/day/car.

• Meeting rooms:

Two meeting rooms for 20-40 people are at your disposal in the hotel. Both meeting rooms are air-conditioned and have natural lighting. The conference rooms are equipped with overhead projector, flipchart, screen, TV, video recorder.
