Location & How to Get There

Atlas Hotel is located in the centre of Budapest, near Blaha Lujza square so the hotel is easily accessible around the clock. To reach Blaha Lujza square take either the tram 4 or 6 or the red metro (M2). Then turn left onto Népszínház utca at the Mc Donald’s and Atlas lies within 5 minutes walk (400 metres) or one tram stop away on the right side of the street.

Distance to nearest metro:

5-7 minutes walk Blaha Lujza tér on Metro Line 2 (Red) or 1 stop with tram 28/37)

Distance to nearest highway:

5km. (10-20 minutes depending on traffic,) to M7 international highway to Vienna, Austria.

Distance to Airport:

14km (9 miles) from Ferihegy International. Guests traveling alone are recommended to use the Railbus or Airport minibus services, however for 2 or 3 guests together it is cheaper to share a taxi (non-private).

By public transport:

Take Metro 2 (red) to Blaha Lujza tér. Exit the metro area by the stairs marked József Körút. Walk 200m past the blue Hotel Nemzeti. At the McDonalds, turn left onto Népszínház utca. The hotel is 600m along on the right side. (5 minutes walk, or 1 stop on from the terminus of tram 28 or 37)

To reach Atlas Hotel by car:

From M7 (Vienna) follow “Centrum” signs along Hegyalja út and across the river via Erzsébet híd (Elizabeth Bridge.) continue straight until after the 2nd major junction (Blaha Lujza tér) Then take the 2nd right onto Kiss József utca, past the park, then (carefully) cross the tram lines and turn left onto Népszínház utca ). The hotel is 200m on the right. Please park and ask the receptionist to open the gate.
